Thank you so much for your patience and your prayers, as we have been doing all of the accounting from the benefit festival last Saturday in Tyler TX, as well as the money that has continued to come in over the last week as a result of the event. We have finally finished accounting for everything and I’m SOOOOOO excited to tell you that God gave us over $92,000 in total revenues from pre-event, event and post-event sales/donations/sponsorships. WOW! That’s almost TWICE what God gave us last year.
- Here are a few other amazing GOD facts…
- over $40,000 in sponsorships
- over $9,000 in auction items
- over $13,000 in ticket sales on event day
- over $25,000 in merchandise sales and donations
- $1600 from our first ever 5k
God has done some amazing things, but I believe that we are only scratching the surface of what God wants to do. He is bringing churches, businesses, and individuals on board to partner with us on a long-term basis; and we believe that through these partnerships and annual events we will be able to add more schools and hundreds of more children to our feeding program in 2014.
Please continue to pray with us that God would raise up more and more people, businesses and churches who want to help us feed as many children as possible in the name of Jesus, so they can get a good education, hear about the love of Christ, and see their hopeless future in the slums of Nairobi turn into a path of purpose, hope and abundant and eternal life in the fold of the Great Shepherd Jesus Christ.
God Bless you and thank you so much for your prayers, support, and encouragement.
By the way, we’re about to launch an online store where you can buy our soon to be world famous t-shirts, along with armbands, stadium cups, koozies, and CDs! All of the merchandise has been donated so 100% of the purchase price will go to feed children in our feeding program, so you will be able to tell all of your family and friends around the country about our great merchandise and they can help support our cause!! Stay tuned!
Sincerely,
Brandon Scott Smith
