When generous people like you give to feed the children in Nairobi, Kenya, we send 100% of the donations received to our team in Kenya.
Our partners in Kenya, Manna Ministries, purchase the food and then our team delivers the food directly to the schools in our feeding program where they will eat 2 warm meals every school day!
0% of your donation goes towards administrative costs because private donors cover our operating costs. You can give to No Hungry Children knowing your whole donation (100%) will go to feed children in the slums of Nairobi, Kenya.
Most of the money coming from any government (including the USA) into Kenya for “aid” is skimmed off by the politicians and very little of it gets to the people in poverty. That is why there are so many people still in poverty there and so much childhood death due to malnutrition.
The children get porridge for breakfast and rice and beans for lunch…2 meals a day…five days a week while attending school. We buy massive bags of rice, beans, flour etc., and buy a month’s worth of food at a time so we get massive discounts. It works out to 20 cents a meal on average…$2 per week per child.
Our feeding program is specifically for feeding children while they attend school. This entices children to come to school, which gets them off the streets so they no longer have to spend their day searching for food. While in school, they get warm meals twice a day, an education, and loved and mentored by adults who care about them. It is truly a win-win-win. $10 a month genuinely changes these children’s lives!
